Golden Retriever Puppy Due.
Discussion
As a previous Golden owner I'm happy and excited to be picking up a new golden puppy in a little over a month. (Yes I paid but please spare me the re-homing lecture) If I could get a young Golden from a re-homing centre I would.
Now the bit I'm dreading is the 6ish hour drive home I'm going to face when I pick the puppy up. It'll be from Edinburgh to Hampshire. I'll obviously need to stop on the way back but want to avoid busy areas and service stations to protect the puppy as it'll be before his 12 week batch of injections.
Can anyone recommend anywhere near to the main route down that's quieter and safer I can stop at?
Also, The breeding family are bringing them up on Canin Golden Puppy Food. I'l have some of this at first to save a chock to his system but is this brand good or am I better changing to something else

Congratulations on your new puppy.
