I seem to have a large number of pigeons in the garden and unfortunately they are pooing all over the garden. Not very nice for my 4 year old who has got poo on his clothes a few times today when playing on the grass.

Any tips on how I can stop the pigeons from pooing all over the grass?

Something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Defenders-Jet-Spray-Prote...

Worked for me. But it'll only cover a small area so you'd have to move it around

Looks good but only has a 10 metre range, should have said, my garden is 70 metres long and 14 metres wide, so how effective will this be?

Well i guess that you could buy a few wink

My idea was to discourage pigeons in one particular part of the garden and it did that well enough.
I move it around the garden periodically and it seems to make it less attractive in general.

I eventually built my own remote controlled water jet and mounted it in the tree where they settle to have a look around before landing on the lawn.

Have you got any idea what makes your lawn attractive to the pigeons? In my case it was smaller birds scattering seeds from bird feeders.

Very similar here with a young kid and newly seeded lawn, keeping away was a challenge

Wireless door bell

Can even get ones what play mp3, so could record a bit dog barking or play Madonna

Only works if your there to push it of course

Yup could get a few need to figure out how I would split the hose to feed multiple units. I’m sure you can get a splitter for a hosepipe, will google it.
Not sure what attracts them to the garden, not sure if it’s due to neighbours on either side having bird feeders

I was joking about buying lots- they aren't that cheap.

Splitting the hose is easy: https://www.hozelock.com/product/y-connector/

Loving the advert "3 times scarier than the average decoy"
How many pigeons did they interview to reach that statistic lol

These things do work though, kept birds off our balcony at our old flat

I just love all the random stuff they sell, can browse for ages just having a laugh.

These should be in every PH's Xmas stockings next year.

I suppose the downside of the product suggested above is that it is likely to deter other wild birds from your garden too.

OP why are they in your garden? If there's no food they'll leave.

No idea why they are in my garden, just want rid of them as they are making a mess everywhere.

Had to jet wash the poo of the swing and slide earlier so my boy could play on it.
