After a Labrador Retriever

Hi I've had Labradors in the past but not for about 5 years. I really want another one preferably black but not too bothered.

Where is the best place to look when trying to find one? I've been using pets 4 homes but I can't believe the price they're going for, north of £2k and they always reserved really quick. Is this the going price for one now or is it just because of Corona that the price has rocketed?

Breeders making 20 grand from a litter of seven pups! Not too bad is it?

We're collecting our new member of the family on Saturday. A fox red labrador, i think there's currently a high demand as everyone's home so its perfect timing. We paid £900, proper working lab with good parents.

You've done well. That's roughly what I thought I'd have to pay, that would of been ideal. Might depend on the area of the country, I'm in the North East but I'd be willing to travel a decent way to get one.

Ours is from a farm in Malton, my mum sorted it so not sure on the exact details but they had a large litter and all were reserved within the week! Just have to move fast i guess.
