This has been in my garden most of the day.
Been told by a couple of friends who are twitchers, that it’s quite rare to have one of these over here.

I’ve also taken some footage, but don’t know how to put it on PistonHeads.

It’s called a ‘Hoppee’or ‘Hoopoe’ . I’m no bird watcher, so don’t know which one is correct.

I normally only see a hoopoe on Spanish golf courses. Congratulations chap. Enjoy.

Oh right, fair enough.

Sounds nice.

I’m a member at The Hampshire club, near Andover. Play with a bird watcher who needs to concentrate on his golf rather than looking up into the sky all the fecking time.
