Arc Hen House - Fox Proof

We have a hen house very similar to this.

Any thoughts on making it more fox proof specifically for foxes digging under the house? Chickens arriving next week or so.

I have no idea about the needs of a chicken but could you staple mesh to the underside and lay hay over that?

Was thinking that but they do like to have a scratch around underneath - perhaps staple mesh to side.

The best way to make it fox-proof is to put it inside a fox-proof run. Note. Not chicken wire - that keeps hens in, not foxes out.

The run at the bottom of page one is an excellent fox-proof set-up. The fencing should ideally go below ground level.
