Wasps

Last year we had a wasp nest somewhere in the loft or around the area as we had a large number of them dead or die in our storage cupboard. Called a few pest companies and was told to let it develop so 100% you know where it comes from and that each year they die out and never return. The situation never got so bad and I never was able to see where the wasps were coming/going so difficult to find where the nest was.

This year we've already started to have a few in the kitchen, my guess is that because of the central heating pipes come from the ceiling this is how they get out.

My question is there something which seems to keep attracting them each year? & is there anything I can do to stop/prevent it now before it develops?

You could try an inflatable wasp nest in the loft. They won't build a nest if there's a much bigger (dummy) one already in there

Is this a thing?

I don't know where they come from or where the actual nest is, possibly loft but I never found the next from last year, I've tried looking to see where they come/go but again never saw anything successfully

I've got one hanging in my shed, which has remained wasp free since it was installed. Please of online sellers of them
