What are these little bugs?

I have a top floor modern construction flat and recently have been noticing these little creatures dead on the floor in the lounge regularly. The photo is zoomed in massively and they are about 3mm in size max. Any idea what they are and how to get rid? The flat is probably only occupied about 60 days a year and was totally renovated about 3 years so there is no decay in the fixtures and fittings or the structure.

Could be bad news if they are.

There is a possibility that they may be carpet beetles. The strange thing is that there is no carpet in the whole place and I’m terms of fibres in the lounge which is where they are there is only two sofas both of which are leather and showing no signs of being damaged.
