NO-not the owner, but the dog. Past history tells me that she was one of a pair with previous owner. Other dog was a male from same litter, who she "couldn't get on with". I've got my ideas on that, but back to the story. Swimbo has gone into second great granny mode with this rescue. Dog is spoilt. Swimbo buys dog cocktail sausages ,which dog loves, but not all of the time. Today I found one of these in spare bedroom, under a pillow. I'd suggest it's from her past life- she wanted it but wasn't that hungry -part of a dogs life- so she hid it.
In over 70 years of dog ownership it's only the second dog that has done this. Last one that did this used to hide bones under my pillow.

My Cocker spaniel eats everything apart from pigs or cows ears.

She desperately wants them, throws them around the room for a while and then goes off and hides them somewhere.

My last dog ( ex puppy farm breed bh ) was like that. She was on a "see food " diet- she saw it, she ate it. I can't make this one out - Swimbo gave her the equivalent feed of raw mince this morning. It's still there . But if she (dog) smells chicken throwaways in park ,it's gobble first.

My dog lobs bones about and barks at them whilst he rolls on his back.

I think they're all idiots. laugh
