Cool
So far this year we’ve had that, heard the tawny owl, family of foxes and cubs, muntjac deer, full size deer - doe and stag, squirrels that come to be fed.
Bat boxes will go up soon
I quite like it here!

And wildlife filled gardens are the best gardens. Always something to watch.
We're on the edge of a slightly scabby area in Bristol but still have badger, hedgehog, slow worm, sparrowhawk, woodpecker, foxes etc and an ever growing butterfly and dragonfly lists.

New video. There was half eaten pigeon on the lawn a couple of days ago so I left and pointed the camera.
Defo falcon or ?

Not looked at the vid but from the (crappy) photos its a peregrine. I have two on a tower 200yds from where I live. The black/blue back & wings along with the whiteish chest and legs are unmistakable.
Except that description also applies to goshawks and sparrowhawks im afraid......and colouration really isn’t used as a definitive identifier anyway. We have a buzzard at the stables which is entirely Osprey colours for example!Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
