We've two. One is spotless, the other seems to come back covered in dirt/dust that if you pat it, there's a massive cloud from its coat. If it sits on a chair that becomes black and if it rubs on your leg, you have to go and change, its that bad.

Worse, the wife is now suffering with constant sneezing and coughing when it's around. Don't want to keep bathing it as that will be a pain, pointless and could reduce his natural oils etc...

Any ideas?

First time in eleven years he's doing this, obviously rolling around in sand, dirt or dust. Keeping him in isn't an option.

Has he got some sort of skin condition / allergy that is causing him to roll in something for relief?

Is there a particular patch of dirt he rolls in - can it be covered up?

Or is he just being a cat? smile
