Same thing happened to me when looking after a friends lizard several years ago

The sod's make a racket chirping all night-one even leapt to its death when it jumped out of the plughole of my bathtub-while I was in it!

It took several weeks sort out I'm afraid..

They're locusts (which are vegetarian) not crickets (which are omnivorous), so unless you have lots of plants in the house they'll die of starvation pretty quickly.

They also don't make the same noise as crickets.

I know some friends had the same problem but left it as were moving out anyway.

I had a Leopard Gecko escape twice for a total of about 18 months. I feel such a terrible owner but she clearly didn't really like being confined to the vivarium!
