10 week old Boston Terrier, on raw food.
She eats, 20 mins later she goes out to poo.
Then, 10 mins after evacuating what looks like a lot for a small dog, she does another in the house.

Seem to be on top of wee’s, but the poo...

Yesterday, we counted 11 dumps in total - some outside, some inside.
11 can’t be normal can it?

We had a cat with similar symptoms. He had an inflammatory bowel condition, which was successfully treated with steroids.

In his case, the gut wasn't absorbing nutrients, and his dumps were very soft or runny. As I said, steroids sorted him out.

Christ, I hope a 10 week old doesn’t need steroids!

You say you are feeding a 10 week old pup raw food, what is it?

Yes, as the breeder has been and told us to carry on doing.
She loves it.

Try her on something less raw, like kibble, she clearly can't handle it.

Her diet is not correct.

Quality kibble

I’d like to keep her away from kibble - it’s not like the poo is runny, but perfectly formed firm little nuggets.

She’s at the vets on Tuesday for her vaccinations so will ask them too.

So, she is too young to be able to control her movements.

At 10 weeks there is no surprise with that

Don't be silly, raw is what is natural for dogs (and cats).

It is however a puppy and will pee and poo a lot.

Make sure OP you are giving a good balance of food including offal - have a read up of rearing a puppy on raw.

Don't switch her food, if the breeder has fed her raw then carry on doing so otherwise the nice firm poo nuggets will be nasty runny ones.
How much are you feeding her and is it the puppy food from natural instinct? The adult food has vitamins in it that a puppy does not need so you should avoid adult food for now.

Normal with a puppy.

They are fed at a quantity commensurate with their size and growth rate. ie lots of poohing and weeing. Their bowels and bladder are not mature enough to control when they go. Worth a check on the quantity though.

Might want to leave the puppy outside for a while longer.

ETA: how are the two getting on?

The food should be ok then.. Do you feed her once a day or 2 or 3 times? If its once a day maybe its just too much for her in 1 sitting.
I am sure the vet will be able to sort it out.

We’re giving her 3 meals a day at the moment.

A worthy Lagotto, play monsters. She'll no doubt learn loads of bad / mischievous things from him!

His ‘thing’ is stealing socks - dirty, clean, however they come.
He'll even try to take them off your feet when you’re asleep..

And as it happens, the wife found a slightly chewed one in her bed yesterday.
Nelly’s learning already ...
