Long story short, my wife and I are hoping to move into a waterfront property. Out the front is a SSSI infested with birds and wildlife. To the rear, is a nature reserve with more birds, badgers and deer etc. There is very little light pollution. I’m looking to treat myself to a set of decent NVG binos or a monocular.
Does anyone have any first hand experience? I notice the market is flooded with cheap offshore sourced stuff. I’m willing to spend a decent amount on the right product, but some first hand experiences and advice would be invaluable. Also,I’m probably dreaming, but somewhere that stocks them for a trial would be beyond brilliant!
Thanks for taking the time to read this far!

Hope someone will be along soon that can point us in the right direction as I'd like some too.

When I looked into this a while ago all I seemed to come up with was to to expensive to justify/get past the mrs.

Well I don't need to look so far (as I live in a forest), so I've told the Mrs this is what I want for Christmas!

Bushnell have appeared on my radar. I’ll be interested in hearing what you think of them come Christmas!

Had a Bushnell spotting scope about 25 years ago and the quality was very good, ideal for birdwatching. I have bought binoculars from Ace Optics in Bath and can highly recommend them, not sure if they stock what you're after but they may be able to advise. Certainly with birdwatching optics you do get what you pay for, good quality isn't cheap.
