Dangerous Dog Sentence

I have just seen this on the stoke sentinel web page

In short Kye the deaf Akita has been sentenced to death after two teenagers entered the garden whilst he was leashed and he bit one of them.

If the article is the whole story then surely that is a terrible application of the law, one of teenagers punched the dog for God sake, obviously it will bite.

This is disgraceful someone trespasses onto someones property and complains when something like this happens I don't know if they are still about but their was a group called fury who supply specialist legal representation in these kind of cases I have owned Akitas for thirty years and would like to think I know them pretty well if an Akita had meant to bite them it would have been more than just feeling the dogs teeth.

This is our problem, i dare not leave my caucasain ovachakras lose on a night round the farm, they have to be chained in case they bit a scrote trying to rob your property. My families farm one night was broke into all phone lines cut even the direct one to the police plus the fact my father in law and mother in law were held by shotgun and beaten. We lived in the cottage next store and had no idea because back then we did not have guard dogs just terriers.

When i applied for my dog breeding license i got a rollocking of the vet for them being chained at night. You can't do right for wrong at times dealing with officials, police and the courts. If they we're lose id be in the st big time.
