What is the best treatment for stopping ticks attaching to hounds. We use frontline at the moment which covers flea and tick treatment but the little buggers are still sucking away at their blood.

Is there something better?

We use Seresto tick collars, not cheap, but they last about 9 months and our dogs stay tick free, and we have lots of ticks here in France.

Bravecto- one tablet in March and another in June each year seems to work for our dog. Prior to taking them he used to get a few but since he hasn’t had any

Bravecto here too. It doesn't stop the ticks attaching, but apparently they die and drop off very quickly. We usually intercept them before they've had chance to attach.

Never had much luck with tick collars here, both our dogs ended up with ticks on them even when they were wearing collars.
