How can I stop cats using my woodbark as a litter tray!
Discussion
Our estate just loves cats, every other house has one of the furry little buggers. They all seem to love my back garden, especially the long woodbarked section near the back. They just love to poo in it.
I'd like to keep on good terms with my nieghbours so using paws as target practice for my airsoft rifle is probably not a good idea. How can I stop the little buggers?
Smelly plants are out, this rear section, the ground is like granite, a high density mix of clay/rocks/roots. I tried to dig some small plants in and after sharpening my spade with an angle grinder it was sparking as it hit the ground. Nightmare earth. Thats why I put wood bark down and some surface features like a stone bench, wooden seated area etc... but I dont want the kids standing in cat poo!
I've just tried mixing in large blue slate in with the woodbark. Next day one of the furr balls dug it up anyway next the bench seat and took a crap!
Its too big to put coffee down as it would take a s**t load of it (no pun intended)
Any ideas? (dont say move and no amount of frozen sausages or red bull is gonna solve this)

Is your back garden secure and can you borrow a Terrier for a weekend?
My sister had the same problem until she dogsat my mums' Staff one weekend, next doors cat wasn't expectingthe Spanish inquisition an old Staff to move so quickly.
The cat escaped with about 1/8" to spare and hasn't dare venture into my sisters garden again.
I doubt the Staff would've had the first clue what to do if she had caught the cat but the cat didn't know that
