Just wandering if anyone has experience of muzzles for french bulldogs or short nosed breeds in general?

Ours certainly doesn't need it, I've never once seen him show the slightest bit of aggression, even when other dogs are being aggressive towards him he doesn't react, however in Austria you legally need them when going on trains and metros, so we would need one just for these short trips occasionally.

Normal muzzles don't seem to fit properly and haven't found anything suitable locally so have been looking online, but there are a lot of different designs/materials and i'm wandering which is the best to get and would be most comfortable for him.

Thanks!

Yeah I have seen some breed specific ones so will probably just try one out after measuring him properly.
I was just curious if anyone had any experience with them with this type of dog, I heard you need to be extra careful not to have one that will touch their eyes and also make sure its not restricting their mouths opening as they then cant cool themselves/breathe properly!

He already sometimes gets wide berths from people thinking his grunting noises are growling, with a Hannibal Lector style muzzle as well it wont improve things! hehe

Some I have seen cover their entire face and have either mesh or little plastic windows for them to see through! Wont be trying one like this...

I just saw the mesh ones, like having a fly mask on one of the horses.

I walk Jack the frenchie every morning round the common and he is the same with his grunting and slaver.
