Lab/ridgeback cross just gone 15.

Recently doesnt ask to go out for a dump but just does it on the hall carpet ( daft thing is he still 'asks' to go out for a pee!!

Also craps in his sleep so coming down in the morning find richards curled out behind him

( saving grace is he is on kibble and it smells 99% less than Pedigree ( other meat options available))

So at the moment he is on three small meals a day, and his motions are, to say the least not regular so i cannot even get him out at regular times to ensure he does a dump. In fact the other day he went for a 20min walk no crap, but did one as he got into the house!!!!

So any ideas how i could regulate his bowel movements in any way?

One meal a day in leiu of three, morning or evening?

Dont really want him to go on the one way visit, as in all other repects he is ok. It is just his backside that needs retraining.

Ah OK, I only asked in case there was something more sinister going on. My Westie started doing all sorts of weird stuff at the end but that was cancer and dementia!

Best of luck!
