Bumper Protection

I'm after a decent form of bumper protection for the Octavia vRS estate. I have the Skoda rubber lining in the boot, and I'm keen to avoid the stick-on plastic strips that go over the bumper. Instead I'm after something that will attach inside the boot and roll out to the pooch can jump in and out without damaging my bumper (further).

What would others suggest?

OH bought a piece of clear plastic film which sticks to the bumper and doesn't show too much. Then we also have a Mazda boot liner which has an extra 'flap' of fabric which we fold out when the dogs jump in or out.
