2 years on from Scruffy
Discussion
Some of you will remember the sweet but much too short story of Scruffy our little lovable cat from Spain.
Well after 2 years it feels right to try again, we've taken the plunge are in the process of adopting a mother (1yr) and her daughter (3 months) from the local cat rescue, they have a good website, the charity is well run and as part of the process you get to meet the cat "foster parents" and they have the final say on whether you seem a right fit for the cat.
If for any reason you get to a point where you can't look after the cat then it has to be returned for them to care for, or if you want to give it to someone else then the charity must meet the prospective new owners.
It may seem a bit OTT to some but it makes perfect sense to me and does show their commitment to each of the cats that go through their cat rescue

Thanks Bex and your advice and words helped greatly.
This mother and daughter have also been found on the street and have been a bit poorly so not the best if starts but they've been treated at the rescue centre and they're recovering now and with good food and a lot of love I'm sure they'll settle in and recover fully and fill the gap in our lives as I hope we fill a gap in theirs
