Dog just ate a bit of rabbit carcass. Problem?
Discussion
Was just out walking Archie, our King Charles Cavalier, and he found a rabbit carcass.
Its guts were mostly gone, but other than that it was largely intact and didn't look that old.
I managed to get most of it away from him, but he managed to keep hold of a leg which he crunched up and swallowed.
Will he be OK? I'll admit I know nothing about raw feeding etc, and to my knowledge he's never actually eaten similar. It's not what he's eaten so much as the bones. My missus' sister's dog died after getting something stuck in its gut.
Apologies if I'm over reacting, but she'll have my guts for garters if something happens to him 😂

Mine catches rabbits and eats the lot except the tail. Strange dog I know. He once stole a rabbit off a buzzard that had it caught and pinned to the ground. There were two guys watching the buzzard and were amazed until this mad dog came along and stole its tea. They looked at me as if to say WTF. Hehe. I just shrugged as there was no way I was getting near the rabbit until it was eating.
