Advice regarding insurance for a puppy
Discussion
Hi
After a great deal of thought and acting as holiday cover for friends dogs for a few years. We have decided to take the plunge a get a puppy. A friend's bh had a litter...well two, cocker poo Yorkshire terrier crosses. I wanted a smaller dog but one big enough to get into the mix with the local park pack and enjoy going into the hills.
The question now is insurance. On compare the Market the £10 or there about a month level seems to give you what is on the face of it a balanced life time cover policy. I would appreciate people's advice on this and feedback on good companies...and the bad ones.
Thanks

in a nut shell, with a life policy just check if its a value per condition for life policy, that would mean that once the value has been used up, that condition would not be covered, 12 months per condition will always be much cheaper but would only cover you for a year and then exclude any more claims.
some policies are excluding conditions that a breed can be prone to so make sure no breed exclusions, and also some wont cover you if you are in the vets out of hours with a higher bill, so just check if out of hours vet fees are covered.
good luck.. trust pilot has some good honest reviews straight from the horses mouth,
hope this helps and good luck with the new arrival,
