Natural cat food
Discussion
Hi All
I've been trying my 3 cats on so called natural or grain free cat food - anyone else feed this?
I've tried a number of wet foods with mixed results, maybe they're too used to cheaper cat foods like Felix.
I guess it's like going from eating McDonalds to Healthy meals for us (know which I'd prefer!)
Results so far:
Natures Menu and AATU not liked at all
James Wellbeloved and AVA had mixed results
Applaws and Almo Nature most popular so far
Any other suggestion?
Liz

Lily's Kitchen is grain free for cats. Not many turn their nose up at that one.
Orijen do a dog food I think they do a cat version as well.
I think both Vets Kitchen and Meowing Heads do grain free for cats
All British except Orijen which is Canadian.
Another vote for Lily's Kitchen here. The difference in their coats is noticeable.Orijen do a dog food I think they do a cat version as well.

Thanks for the Lilys Kitchen recommendations.
What flavours go down best?
My moggies liked the fishy Felix best, but I wonder if the natural foods are a bit too fishy!
They do get some raw meat as well but are picky with that too!
Our previous cats lived to 19 yrs eating Felix but the vet has suggested a better diet for our 2 yr old who has chronic gingivitis (related to having cat flu as a kitten)
