Ok, I've never had 2 dogs before so forgive me if this sounds stupid, I have friends with more than 1 dog and their's are not like mine!

So Lottie is 18 months old now and was 16 months old when I got Max, another Miniature Schnauzer.
It was a hard decision but I didn't want Lottie being on her own and I wanted her to be better with other dogs as she really didn't get on well with them.
Getting Max was easy as he is such a great little guy smile far more confident in many ways than Lottie is but Lottie is my girl and she is a real softie with me and the family and my friends, though she barks at strangers.

Now my "dilemma" is that these 2 just don't stop playing! In one way its a blessing and in another, well its a blessing as they keep themselves occupied.

From day 1 Lottie would avoid going on the floor when Max was around, it wasn't until he was bigger that they really bonded (they are half brother and sister) and now she keeps him on his toes by play fighting, I'm not sure its her mothering side coming out, teaching him how to be the hunter, but it is fun to watch and I just don't quite know what to make of it as I don't see many dogs interact this way, so in my eyes its either a great bonding between them with Lottie being the Mothering Dog training Max (she normally head butts him in the side if he wont play or isn't doing what he is suppose to do lol) or she is being a bully which I doubt because they take it in turns to chase each other, steal each others food etc.

Answers on a postcard?!!

PS, it has improved her confidence with other dogs which im happy with smile

Pesty
