Malting Cat hair

Hello,
Just over a year ago, Mrs Bowen and I adopted a 2 year old female Cat called Soda.
Lovely Cat in everyway, apart from waking us up at 5:30am every morning.
The problem is, is that she moults a lot of hair all of the time. I assumed at first it was because of the stress of being in a new house etc. However, she still malts all of the time, winter, summer, spring.
We comb her once maybe twice a week with a ferminator, and this does take off a lot of hair but the next day it's back. We have taken to keeping lint rollers in the house, car and our places of work.
Any advice?
