I hate posting this but I need some suggestions.

Can anyone suggest a decent comb for a long haired dog? - an Old English Sheepdog in my case.

Furminators are brilliant, they get lots of loose hair off. Our long-haired GSD loves being brushed with his.

I've tried a variety of combs/brushes with my two but the one that works best is the Ferplast comb with rotating teeth. Have a read of the comments on Amazon. It's actually the only thing I use now as it can get through mats and both dogs seem to find it least annoying which is pretty important if you want the brushing to last longer than 2 minutes...

GSD owner.

This (very similar to a furminator but less risk of damaging the dogs topcoat)
Mikki Grooming Anti-tangle Undercoat Rake, Soft Grip Handle, Large https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001U8S8W8/ref=cm_sw_r...

Followed by this
Mikki Hard Pin Slicker, Extra Large https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B013G2VJMG/ref=cm_sw_r...

This combo is all you need.
