The scummy tts at the back are letting off industrial strength fireworks. Everyone a huge bang going off right over our house.

Been going on for weeks here still not over. If they had told me at school try harder or you will have to live next to dheads that would have worked.

I am fortunate that my two don't worry one iota about fireworks (will happily go in the garden while they go off),though Bryn doesn't like bonfire smoke!and until the last few days it had actually been surprisingly quiet of rogue fireworks.

However, earlier we also had industrial strength fireworks let off very close by (only about 4 but they were huge!!) Even then I jumped more than the dogs!!

I feel your pain Pesty, but after 15 odd years, we actually went to the fireworks display this year!

How do your two cope ?

What still amazes me, in this era of stupid H&S, is how joe public can still buy unregulated explosives for very little money.

Jean doesn't care she goes out to see what's going off.

Logan is terrified when he was about 9 weeks old these tts let off a huge air bomb that was the Middle of summer. We were in the garden.

Since then through just amazing bad luck unless These fkers are aiming at dogs on purpose we've been hit 3 more times while out on walks nowhere near bonfire night.

He won't turn right out of the house, last year we were walking along the main road and one went off near us, he went from no issues with roads to terrified. You try moving a cattle dog that doesn't want to. Every time we start making progress it happens again.
In Spain the last time actually caused limber tail, yeah he'd been swimming all day but he was fine until the firework went off he tail went straight down and would come back up for two weeks.

I don't live in a great area it's no bad but backs onto a rough estate. This house had reputation, went round and got a mouthful gave it them back won't do anything but I felt better.
They set them off all year round.

I'm not sure it makes much difference, this is what my posh loaded neighbours did when their kid got married. Fortunately that was before I got dogs :/

Can I come visit with my dogs next year? wink Joking aside, think I will look to go somewhere quiet next year. This year was pretty stressy, it's no fun watching one of your dogs trembling in fear all night frown

Looks like it doesn't Jesus that's like allepo.

That's the thing I don't mind one night maybe two but two weeks around here ffs. Every empty shop opens up as a fireworks shop. I'm sure they pay taxes and rents. Yeah right.

They were very similar to that not something you buy at Tesco sub standard fireworks etc proper exhibition ones just not as many

Anyway just applied for a new job this was in my mind when I did. A raise and a house in the country.

Yep, been there and hated it.

Initially, vets gave true sedatives, but later on they dished out proper uppers. Hated having to dose the dogs up, but hated seeing them drooling in fear too.

Pesty - the only thing I would say, is just be carefull (and I dont know how Id stop it), but Milly initially didnt care about FW,but after seeing Milo stress out, she suddenly felt she out to feel scared too, if that makes sense.

Good luck with the job dude.
