Degu - where to re-home

Hoping someone in the PH community may be able to help.

I'm aware of the numerous Dog and Cat adoption sites, can anyone recommend the same for rodents if such a thing exists?

We are in Bournemouth, have googled but cannot find anyone local. Gum tree prohibits the advertising of live animals and we have tried all our friends and family. We seem to have inadvertently gained a Degu and large cage and at the risk of becoming his permanent owners we'd love to give him to a more loving home!

Pets at Home will take some unwanted animals. They rehome them for a donation to the costs of providing the service.

Cant help although I am in Wimborne but have you rung a couple of vets to put on ther notice board?

If you are giving it away rather than selling I am sure they will be happy to help.

Trying Googling 'small animal rescue Bournemouth/Dorset'.

I'm not sure why you think Gumtree don't allow you to sell pets - there are lots of adverts for animals on there?

Shame you live so far away from me, I would have taken him off your hands. I've had degus before and they're such bright little buggers, would love to have more
