For several months now we've had an unneutered grey tabby Tom hanging outside in the street, all the cat owning neighbours have been feeding him it none of us were sure if he was stray or not & although he was submissive to other cats weren't sure of how our cats would react to him

He's a very loving, talkative cat

A month ago, one of them adopted him formally, as he'd been coming into hers a lot & her cats had accepted him smile

Last Wednesday I was talking to her on FB in the Residents Group whilst he was sat on my lap on the front step.

But he was also sat in her lap!

We exchanged photos & they appeared to be twins :O

We've all been asking around after him & no one claimed him as theirs and we've put him on the lost & found pages locally, friends have shared him on FB etc

So when he came to me last night, I took him to be scanned for a chip & he wasn't

Then one of the other residents said that they'd been dumped, so after some discussion with my husband we said we'd adopt him as an outdoor cat, with a kennel etc in the garden.

He was waiting for me when I got home tonight, so operation adopt a stray went into motion

I brought him in to the spare room, cleared it of stuff spray would damage & fed him

Then my friend rang & hes found his very own human, all to himself

love

And tonight he leaves us cry

We've become so attached to the little love, he's amazing

But, he needs his own family that are dedicated to just him, rather than having to share 2 humans with 2 possessive cats

We won't half miss him
