Lost our cat just now

Not posted on the creatures forum yet but just wanted to vent more than anything really,

Just received a distraught call from partner who found our lovely cat Evie had managed to get her head trapped in an ajar bottom hung window in our conservatory and has passed away. I really hope she didn't suffer.

Please please please be aware and be careful of such dangers. So awful
