Anyone know of a good cat groomer? We have a long haired cat who is suffering a tad in the heat so could do with whizzing away the bulk of his coat.

Long hair cat's do suffer a bit in the heat... but at the same time their coat does actually help them actively regulate their own body temp in hot and cold conditions.

I would suggest rather finding somewhere cool for the cat (there are bed pads that cool down when they pressure is applied (someone linked one on here the other day?)

ps. They survive in the wild with long coats, we don't need to humanise them by giving a hair cut

^^ Fair comment, coat is long and a bit scruffy so a trim is overdue albeit yes agreed certainly not a crew-cut!
