Well it made me laugh ...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-36490552

A seagull turned bright orange after falling into a vat of curry.

The bird fell into a container of chicken tikka masala while trying to scavenge a piece of meat from a food factory bin.

"The thing that shocked us the most was the smell. He smelled amazing, he really smelled good."

One has to wonder what else could have found its way into that vat of curry.

It doesn't sound as though it's in a particularly hygienic location, if a bird can fall into it. Was the curry subsequently thrown away?

It was waste product, not food for consumption.

We had a glut of seabirds so I got a job a culling them. But they had no ammo so I was told to throw pebbles at them.

Did a great job, I left no tern unstoned.

Smiler.

Actually - a good few years ago when i was a student in Leeds there was a curry / seagull incident at a curry house next door to the Skyrack public house in headingley.

the venue shall go un-named but i have it on good authority that food inspectors called and removed several frozen seagulls from the premises DURING an evening service...

aukward.....
