Following on from the random hate/fact on the other thread ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...)

Would a wine gum choke a seagull...? Do the thieving sods deserve it?

What about corvids and other pests - could you tie two together?

I daresay it depends on the size of the seagull. Why do you need to know anyway? Are you trying to settle an argument? Haha.

Do they deserve it? No, but I'm assuming that you're joking anyway hehe

Doubt it, they are skip dippers of repute and I dont think a Wine Gum will trouble them, unless shot from a gun perhaps.

Remember being on a family holiday at a seaside house. father in law decides we are having fish and chips, and as was his usual practice he would order way too much, full on portion of fish and chips each for seven kids between 3 and 11, plus one each for the adults, plus side servings etc,

Anyway loads left over and my three boys get to take them out to the bins, I supervise, as soon as we get out the arrive, first one, then about twenty large Gulls, so we feed then a couple of chips and then all the left overs, the kids were loving it, launching handfuls of fish and chips skywards and onto the low roof, the Seagulls were going mad and as soon as it started it was over, kids wanted to feed them more so the middle one chucks a decent sized stone up, a Seagull, still lurking, grabbed it as it flew past, wheeled round, decided it wasnt edible and dropped it, right on middle kids head D: he wasnt amused, it hurt apparently !

So, I doubt a Seagull would do anything other than ask for another.

I'm told that a small piece of Calcium Carbide can have 'dramatic' effects. But please don't try....
