Hiya

Our little bd has worked out how to defeat my auto-feeder (This one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mate-Automatic-Meal-Feeder...

Does anyone have any recommendations for feeders that are relatively cat proof against smart and strong cats?!

Cheers in advance

Not an auto feeder as such but we have a gumball treat machine for our Bengal. Rather than deliver the food he has to work for it. Only works with dry food though..

A mate wrote a review of some pet feeders - might be useful?

Human?

We leave plenty of biscuits out & arrange for someone to call in & give them their wet food & top up biscuits if required.

Local friends or neighbours with cats will usually help out in return for similar favours smile

Plus it means the cat is checked on whilst you're away

We have a local couple who we use for cat sitting when we're away but would get a bit pricey for them to come in everyday.

This has just arrived - seems to be a great bit of kit and quite cool being able to remotely feed and watch on the web-cam as well. Also seems pretty sleek and relatively cat proof (here's hoping at least!)

Will do.

We got 1/3rd off from Amazon. £99's pretty steep but having 5 slots actually opens up options for us and if it proves cat proof then money well spent.
