Our dog hates having his teeth cleaned.

Anyone tried this stuff?

Hi I have tried this on my 2year old akitas teeth but it had no effect my dog also hates his teeth being cleaned I have tried several products as his teeth seem to be a bit discolured but the vet says they are ok.

Feed raw meat and bones. Saves all that chemical crap..

feed dried food it provides a great abrasive cleaning effect, 14 years on and my old lab's legs will give out before any plaque or tartar gets close. Bones are a good idea but in moderation as raw ones give a dramatic constipatory effect.

Not noticed that myself. Been feeding 4 dogs raw for years now.

Perhaps if you mix c**p with good raw food then this is a problem. But a raw fed dog should go far smaller (good food gets used, unlike the cr*p food that is mostly wasted) and smells far less...

Of course, if you overdo the bone content it will be crumbly.
