I don't know if you've seen them, but, there have been a couple of videos on FB, the show a Leopard swimming to an island, attacking an Aligator, and dragging it to the shore.

To me it doesn't seem real, I have never seen any footage like this on a mainstream channel's nature programe?

Thanks smile

It's a Jaguar and a Croc, 100% real video by National Geographic.

Perhaps whoever wrote the 'Jaguar Attacks Crocodile' title didn't bother listening to the narration which uses the word caiman several times or read the description:
"When a jaguar pounces, sometimes one bite is all it takes to get a meal. National Geographic has exclusive video of a jaguar taking down a caiman in Brazil's Pantanal wetlands, photos of which went viral earlier this month. Luke Dollar, a conservation scientist who helps manage National Geographic's Big Cats Initiative, explains the hunt and explosive moment of predation"
Although if you want the definitive answer you'll need to contact National Geographic.

It'll be a jaguar, they're massive powerful things and some specialise in cayman/caiman(s?). There's a really good BBC nature documentary on South America that covers them in some detail, well worth a watch if you happen across it. Also contains giant otters, which are basically awesome.
