Hey guys,

This is all hypothetical, but say one of my cats went in to have his teeth cleaned a few weeks back and the Vet was a little worried about his weight and wondered if he had an over active thyroid.

Said cat then has a bit of a funny turn (happens from time to time, we just thought it was balance related) which leads me to believe that the vet may be onto something. If the cat happened to get insured today and then taken to the vets for tests after the 14 day clause, would any of this be picked up as an existing problem (there is no record) or would they turn around and say it would have taken time to develop so you're on your own?

I have a feeling I will just have to suck it up but thought I may as well ask smile

I suspect there's a high chance you'd get away with your insurance fraud.

Your vet should have made a medical note of any changes in weight etc

Unfortunately you would be committing insurance fraud esp if your vet noted anything about weight change and advised blood test and is serious if caught, serious for your vet aswell if they get caught up in it!

If there really is no record of any of this then Yes I guess you could do it after the two week wait!

Hope your puddy tat is ok though.
