I hope this is the right place to ask this question. Mrs Q has decided to go back to work 3 days a week and we want someone local to call in to let our dogs out during the day while we're at work. Does anyone here have someone to help out and what do they pay them? I do the walking first and last thing, so its just to let them out for a wee. Thanks.

The other half does day care/walks/boarding/letting dogs out (not near you).
The price will really depend on the person you get. The really good ones are booked up and they have to make it worth their while as they cannot deal with other dogs whilst they are seeing to yours i.e group walks etc, so the cost may be close to that of a walk especially as they still got to pay for their petrol to get to you and back. Those that are starting out or do not have such a good reputation or just concentrate mainly on letting out and short walks would charge less, probably 1/2 the price of a walk.
Where I am (West Kent), you looking at about £10 a visit.

I've been a pet sitter/dog walker for the last 5 years...only do Bedford area.
For a 15 minute let out I'd charge £5, short walk and play for 30 mins £7.50, for full hour walk with play £10.
