tortishell Male Kitten
Discussion
I would need a better pic but no I would not. Possibly a tortoiseshell/tabby mix (torbi's)
A male tortoiseshell is a 1:10,000 chance (in the colour) iirc. I have met one though! The owner had no idea, he was 10yrs old, my boss was in his element when he realised. Ended up being put on a study list etc (paperwork related, no testing except some blood tests!)
Edited as I meant 10,000 not 10,000,000!!

Are you saying this is the same kitten as the first pic?
No different kittenPoint to note, due to the genetic defect causing the male torti they are nearly always sterile and I think can be deaf.

Ahh. That's good as I thought he looked very different . There was one reported in the Mail a while back, that was a dark torti aswell.

From what i have read he will be sterile and possibly also have female organs. This little guy is polydacdic has 6 claws on front feet aswell Point to note, due to the genetic defect causing the male torti they are nearly always sterile and I think can be deaf.

Aww, that's good . I have read stories where people suddenly think they would be able to sell them for a ridiculous amount because they are rare, not realising they can't breed, (though will still spray so still need 'the op!') so of no value in that respect.
He will get the chop and will be chipped and put on vet plan so checkups every 6 months and jags and he will also be insured Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
