Where to get hands on with monkeys
Discussion
Hello,
Looking to find a place that will let visitors get 'hands on' and actually handle & touch the monkeys it cares for.
Any suggestions? It's to be a birthday gift for my fiancee who loves the critters, but I can only find places that let you clean out monkeys and handle lemurs, but I want to find monkey handling.
Any tips or experiences of where this can be done would be very helpful, I don't mind spending a little bit extra if required as it's for a special occasion.
Thanks!

How about keeper for a day at Howletts or Port Lympne? down in Kent.

They seem to list monkeys (well primates really) as one of the ones you can do.

Very good for the kids. You can stay in the yurts ( speeling?) as well. I did, never went around the zoo, just had a nice glass of wine and tried to get the fire to overheat.
Smelly animals, pah.
Stoke On Trent Monkey Forest
Free roaming monkeys in a Jurrasic Park style environment. Don't know if they do a "keeper for the day" though.

All well and good until they really go Jurassic Park. Seen them with a Yaris' windscreen wiper? Imagine your eyelids.this is what happens if they see you with food in monkey forest bali.
