We decided to buy a French Bulldog whilst we were in the UK but picked him up over here in Germany.

Now, I should have done more research but it seems you really cannot fly with them within Europe, the US seems a little more lenient.

Currently this limits our options when we return to the UK to the Ferry / Car, but as we currently don't have a car from what I can find / understand this only leaves the Ferry option.

Once we get the car its no problem, company covers travel costs irrespective of mode of transport BUT the issue is what should be a 90minute flight turns into an 18H+ saga.

So my question, does anyone have any experience travelling, successfully, on airlines with these dogs, if so which ones?

Not sure which airline but we took a pair of frenchies to Manchester airport last year with a Spanish couple as they couldn't get a flight from Glasgow for the same reason

No ide of the airline but hopefully that helps narrow it down can't be too many flying Manchester Spain routes
