I have two vivs that house tropical rainforest Geckos and as such require high humidity. The largest viv is misted with a timer controlled Mistking, the soecond id hand misted.

Both vivs are getting haevily watermarked by my hard water. As I also keep African cichlids, I run my water through a Nitrate filter as well as an HMA, and sadly still get bad watermarking.

The internet suggests I may need EITHER a DI filter OR reverse Osmosis - anyone help me decide ?

Im know its going to cost the best part of a ton, but if it keeps my glass free from watermarks, I will be very happy.....

Update :

I discovered my local Maidenhead Aquatics sell RO water.
£10 returnable for a 25 litre drum and then £3.75 to fill it with RO....

Cheapest way to get watermark free vivs........
