I re watched 'Hachi-A Dog's Tale' over the weekend and really enjoyed it.
Don't know if anyone has heard of a strangely titled Hungarian film called 'White God'. It will be released on DVD in the coming months. If you are a dog person I strongly recommend it - breathtaking!
Wondered if anyone had any other good recommendations?

Best in show.

"God loves a terrier
yes he does
God loves a terrier
that's because
brown sturdy bright and true
they give their hearts to you
God didn't miss a stitch
be it dog or be it bh
when he made the Norwich merrier
with his cute little 'derrier'
yes God loves a terrier!"

Zoltan Hound of Dracula.

Saw it as a 9 year old on a TV double bill with Race with the Devil. Terrified, I was.

The thread title reminded me of a Garfield Strip

"What's your favourite movie?"
"Old Yeller; I love happy endings"

I've got a big soft spot for the '63 Disney version of the book 'The Incredible Journey' - it's a film I loved when I was little.

There are no voices for the animals, just narration.

I watched the film on the plane back from Japan last November. Having been to Shibuya station/crossing and seen his statue a couple of days earlier I had to see it. I liked the end where it actually told you of the true story.

Not my pics, but I do have similar ones!
