The day we all dread. :(

She was a very nervous cat, bit of a loaner i suppose. Over the last couple of years she became more friendly even rarely sitting near to me, last sunday she sat on my lap for about 3hours, enjoying lots of tickles under the chin and ear rubs. Its as if she knew that things weren't right.
We had a loner as well, but she was odd in that she would suddenly become your best friend for a week then drop you for a month, fickle as hell. It was on an off over the years. She was the boss of the other three and took no prisoners at the food bowl but real softy if you knew where to tickle. At the end she was cuddling up, at home. Cancerous growth, inoperable. We made the decision when her quality of life dropped past a certain point.
Thank you all for your kind words...she was a lovely cat but...i was on first name terms with the washer woman at the laundrette after she kept pissing on the beds, also any cat bed,cat blanket, cushion that she had to slept on was peed on as well. Quite common with Siamese my vet told me recently.
