Millie got battered by her brother the other day, she needs to learn that her super quick speed is still no match for Moglet's 9kg mass and penchant for biting when she torments him and he manages to jump on her!. She is fine and they love each other again for 5 minutes but she has ended up with a small scab in front of her ear that she keeps picking off or Moglet licks off (yuk!) causing it to bleed and this evening the fur has fallen out round the scab area.

I was going to bathe it for her but what is safe to use? just warm water or is there some moggy safe antiseptic I can get?

If you haven't got any of that pink hibiscrub type stuff then Cooled Boiled water with a bit of salt in it will do.....just dab it, don't rub! If it isn't starting to look less angry in a day or two then it the vets I'm afraid for the usual wallet raping....

If it starts to swell or any sign of pus it will need a'bios, otherwise bathe twice a day as advised above.(1tsp salt to 1 pint boiled cooled water)

And you need to try and stop it being rubbed, scratched, licked etc (eg lampshade collar) see how bathing over next couple days goes.

I recommend stocking Hibiscrub. An essential in our first aid kit, brillant stuff.
