I'm getting really bad static electricity shocks between my new doggie and I.

It only happened every now and again with the old dog and much less strong.

The worst is when the static jumps from / to the tip of her tail. This makes her yelp and cower as if I've done it deliberately. frown

Has anyone had this before and found a solution?

It only seems to happen in one particuler room. I'll be happy to change the carpet / furnature if there's no other way of avoiding this nasty thing. frown

I took my company car back to Ford as I kept getting electric shocks from it. The service manager explained its not unheard of, and its generally the person rather than the car, or dog in your case.
