One of ours will do that, as well as eat buttered toast.

One of ours loves gammon. And whenever we have a lamb curry, she'll be kicking up a right fuss until we give her some!

Cheese and yoghurt are some of the tastes our cats have.

Ham is a clear favorite for ours, but they can only have a little, and infrequently.

Mind one of the cats will eat most things...

Our cats (we have three now rolleyes) don't get human food, but since it's Christmas they've each had a little nibble of smoked salmon.

Our cat likes poppadoms, but strangely won't touch prawn crackers.

Our last cat likes dry spaghetti. She struggled to eat it as bits kept falling out.

Current cats:

Vertie only eats cat food and freshly cooked white fish.
Mei Mei really likes turkey especially the dark meat, which seems fair
Timmy likes white sauce with leeks, chocolate, mince pies, christmas cake and drinking directly from the tap (non of which are allowed, but he is a sneaky theif)

Our cats (all rescues) will quite happily snarf up KFC, kebab meat, crisps, etc. Only they're not allowed to.

This can be a right PITA when furry ninjas lurk for a crafty swipe at one's dinner, however I do maintain that cats should not be given scraps from the table or eat human food in any quantity.

Salt, sugar, fat, etc, are all bad for them.

I can add pizza crusts to the list, and she was very keen on getting her paws on the garlic bread too. Strange animal.

My old cat Fitz loved to drink melon juice. I often eat eg half a cantaloupe the juice collects at the bottom of the melon bowl. Fitz would sit and wait to drink it all.

Our current cat is quite fussy, doesn't even have like ham/bacon/beef etc. She did eat some turkey today though!

Mum and Dad's old cat loved lettuce and cold rice mixes.

Eating of ham is a biologically accurate test for 'cat'. Are you sure it wasn't a rabbit?

(as in your parent's 'cat' that ate lettuce...?)

Wow a cat that doesn't eat ham? Ham is my "tool" - for example, two rescue kittens afraid of dogs, introduced and happy with my dogs within two weeks. Ham was the reason (eating it off dog paws).

Careful with Timmy, leeks, chocolate, mince pies & Christmas cake are all toxic to cats

Beauty will eat anything we will (she's not allowed to, but she'll have a damn good go!) especially eggs; you cannot take your eyes off breakfast for a second - it's amazing how quick a blind cat can jump on a table & snatch a mouthful of egg! She'll climb you (ok, me) for raw meat when I'm cooking...

Pepi knows if he sits & waits politely he'll get what he wants without begging. Not keen on raw meat, loves rare beef & lamb. Goes crazy for tuna, ham & cheese!

Ours is a true carnivore so no cheese, but will eat peanut butter. Loves chicken in any form, especially curried, the hotter the better. Loves pepperami, frankfurter & similar. Will eat fish such as cod or haddock but not fussed.

She is more about fish, loves tuna, salmon, white fish and prawns (though not always, she has been known to leave prawns) she will eat chicken aswell.
