Hideous, but on what basis are they saying it was deliberate?

They should touch wood be able to catch him with all the CCTV these days. Personally I'd throw him in a cage full of hungry lions.

yep I was thinking the same, was there not a case a couple of years back where an older couple forgot they had tied their dog to the back of the car at a picknick type car park ? but !!!! if they have done it on purpose yep totally agree with all previous thoughts

Dont know how the car is relevant, nor really what this is doing on a petrolhead forum. The driver is clearly a complete regardless of car.

By way of clarification, the individual concerned deserves to be appropriately punished. That the BBC saw fit to mention the brand of car, only serves to draw attention away from the despicable act. I doubt a Vauxhall would have received a mention.

Utterly appalling deed.

I'd be surprised if the driver knew the dog was there. I've heard of sick s leashing dogs to vehicles. Given that benefit of the doubt, imagine the horror upon discovering it.

Sickening cry

It does if someone has information about it.

Long shot I know but stranger things have happened.

Almost certainly an accident. Even a crazy madman wouldn't deliberately hurt their own dog at a busy place full of dog-walkers (Devils Dyke is rammed with walkers) and to do so in such an obvious car as a 911 is even less likely.

Jumping on this and claiming he's a c*** is outrageous. Accidents happen. People leave their kids in shops etc all the time.

That's very near me, couple of miles. Words fail me, and I am not even keen on pets.
