Is it wrong to be more sickened by this than I am when I hear of another 'promising young footballer' being stabbed??

I don't know but I feel the same. It may be because many "promising young footballers" happen to be gang members who do the same unto others.....

What I am currently unclear about, was this a burglary or just someone actually going to a lot of effort to stab a dog?

I'll never understand how some peoples minds work. There's often a Staffy where I walk my dog, thats a rescue dog taken from some smack heads. They'd poured a hot chip pan over it then beaten with the pan. Lost a front leg and is 1/2 bald with the scarring. You couldn't blame the dog if it wanted to rip the throat out of every human it met, but it's still a friendly dog, even after someone had done that to it.

I can almost understand how in certain circumstances you might want to cause pain to another human. Almost. But I could never, ever understand how you could do something like that to a dog.

That was in my friends road.

Not sure of the lastest but pretty sure the dogs owner knew who the attacker was, fingers crossed they got caught!

I hope so! I haven't even clicked the link like some others on here, because I know it will piss me off for a good while. Hate sickos who do things like this.
