Greyhound/Lurcher living with kittens?
Discussion
I have two 14 week old kittens who I've had for about 7 weeks now. At the weekend, I got a 7 week old border collie Lurcher/whippet/greyhound cross.
I'm wondering if I'm likely to have issues in the future with my dog thinking of my cats as "prey"? At the moment, both kittens are viewing the puppy with suspicion and watching it from a safe height. The puppy itself hasn't really shown much of a reaction to the kittens.
Does anyone have any experience of this type of situation? The kittens and puppy are both young so I'm hoping they'll accept it other. My only worry is that the puppy has hunting/chasing/killing instincts and will kill my cats?!
Any input much appreciated!

Should be fine, Kittens are most likely to put pup in lace once brave enough. That's not to say you should not monitor them together.
Our whippet was 5 months when we took him on (and most likely from working stock rather than pet) yet he never caused issue with our 3 cats (then a 4th when he was older) they told him what for pretty damn quick

that sounds typical. Jimmy very occasionally will try and chase one of my cats, only because every now and then she decides to run down the garden but as soon as she stops and turns to face him he stops dead in his tracks and immediately backs off! The cats have no fear of him and he knows it (so he fears them)
This picture was taken after Jimmy had ever so slowly crept into HIS bed and curled up tight as he could to one side, all because Fitz the cat was already in it. As you can probably tell Fitz was not impressed
